“Is It Time to Call Trump Mentally Ill?”
— New York Times Feb. 17, 2017
Doesn’t he realize when the Liberal’s bootlicks in the media spin their breathless and hysterical tales of gross incompetence, failure, betrayal and sedition – doesn’t matter if the reporting is an 18-wheeler load of horse bucky — that all good Conservatives are supposed to curl up in a fetal position underneath their beds and melt away into obscurity?
Why can’t he be like the exonerated Ray Donovan (the Reagan administration’s Labor Secretary who’s corruption charge by Democrats was wadded in a ball, laughed out of court by a special prosecutor and who famously asked, “Where do I go to get my reputation back?” and then faded from public view), or Scooter Libby (Vice President Dick Cheney’s Chief of Staff who was convicted of perjury for crime even the FBI said he didn’t commit), or Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich or the passive and silent George W. Bush. They took their thrashing, they were mocked on Saturday Night Live and then vanished.
But Trump? Noooooooooo.
Doesn’t Trump know now that the Congressional Progressive Caucus and the frenzied reporters of the Washington Post, CNN and the Iranian Republic News Agency have consulted the Swamp Monsters in the Washington Swamp to catalogue the one-month-old administration’s covenant of sedition with Vladimir Putin, Torquemada, and Satan? That now he’s supposed to be chasten and flagellate? The scrip calls for any Conservative who has been so ignobly vilified in the media to accept his castration and limp away into oblivion.
That’s the way it’s supposed to be. Dan Rather says so!
After Thursday’s Presidential press conference, which in surgical terms Trump ripped the media a new one, it’s obvious somebody didn’t give this orange-haired sonofabitch the memo. So the creative writers at Politico, the Never Trumpers, the overstayed Obama bureaucrats, the CIA spooks and the rest of the Washington drama queens have had to resort to the same fallback position they used on Andrew Jackson, Winston Churchill, Ronald Reagan and Charles Barkley.
In the rarified, elite bubble of Liberalism, Trump is insane; while outside it, it makes all the difference. God help the Progressive’s Only My Life Matters mob if other Conservatives follow the new president’s lead.
If they go off script, Conservatives may live long and prosper.
